Mind-Body Connections

With The Center for Mind-Body Medicine

第一吃瓜 has a longstanding partnership with the Washington, D.C. based Center for Mind-Body Medicine (CMBM). Throughout this partnership, ACM Faculty and Staff have worked diligently to provide Mind-Body Skills to individuals, school systems and employer throughout Allegany County, offering simple, evidence-based tools to mitigate the negative impacts of stress for improved physical and mental health.

Meeting the Moment

Healing for Students, Hope for our Community

The Meeting the Moment project, supported by the Maryland Community Health Resources Commission Consortium on Coordinated Community Supports focuses on increasing behavioral health services in schools. During the 2025 - 2026 school year, the ACM Resilience Institute served over 600 students with in-school and after-school programming. We continue to serve  Allegany County students and families in Mind-Body Skills groups during the 2026 - 2027 school year.
