Program Details

The Associate of Science degree in General Studies program develops and expands critical thinking, technology and communication skills 鈥 a plus in today鈥檚 competitive labor market.

Whether you transfer to a four-year college or university, enroll in an ACM career program or use your degree to move up the career ladder, this program offers a valuable academic degree tailored to your needs.

Working with dedicated instructors, you鈥檒l complete 60 credit hours 鈥 the equivalent of your freshman and sophomore years of a four-year college or university 鈥 in four or more semesters. You鈥檒l take a large number of elective courses as well as core classes (required general education curriculum) and electives in English, the Humanities, Laboratory Science, Mathematics, Physical Education, Social and Behavioral Science, and Speech.

If you鈥檙e a new student and uncertain about your life鈥檚 direction, this program offers you time to explore a variety of disciplines. Instead of being an 鈥渦ndecided鈥 or 鈥渦ndeclared鈥 about your major, you鈥檒l have a degree that makes it easier if you decide to transfer.
